Standardized test scores (either the SAT or ACT) are required for most college and scholarship applications. The purpose of the Connecticut In-School SAT Day is to provide free and accessible standardized testing to all Connecticut high school students. Our goal is for students to participate to the best of their ability.

Be sure to get a good night’s rest and eat breakfast prior to testing. A rested mind will help your student concentrate during testing.
Pace yourself. Do not spend too much time one question. If you do not know the answer, skip it, and come back to it.
Do not leave anything blank on the test. There is no penalty for wrong answers.
Use process of elimination. If you can eliminate an answer, you have a greater chance of answering correctly.
Practice. Practice. Practice. Please visit https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/practice and https://www.khanacademy.org for free online practice problems
If you have any questions, please contact New London High School Multi-Magnet Campus test coordinator Ms. Laura Sangster at sangsterl@newlondon.org.

Please note that for grade 12 students only: This Thursday, September 17th and Monday, September 21st, all grade 12 students will be completing pre-administration for the In-School Day SAT.  On theses dates, there will be no live feed distance learning for 12th grade English classes only.  Students should still check in with their teacher for attendance.
